Wreck Dive Planning: Due to the local wreck dive locations, tides, and depth profiles it is not usual to make two wreck dives in one day at certain times per year. Therefore, the typical boat schedule visits one wreck per day daily. We recommend combining this course with a 3-day / 6 dive package. Who Is The PADI Wreck Diver Speciality Course For?
This dive course is for Advanced divers, this specialty level dive course trains you to dive in and around shipwrecks with Safely with confidence. You will learn about approaching wreck diving safely and how to go about mapping and planning wreck penetration dives whilst make 4 Wreck training dives. This Specialty course credits towards your PADI Master Diver Level!
What’s involved In this Wreck diver course?
This PADI Wreck Diver course is based around 2 days of training, during 4 dives in the ocean on some of Pattaya’s Greatest wreck dive sites. Because of the depths and conditions, it is not always possible to visit a Pattaya Wreck Diving Site twice in a single day but we can try if the currents let us.
It’s also very beneficial to use Nitrox. Eanx (Nitrox) is perfect for wreck dives since using it can reduce surface wait times and extend bottom times of deeper dives. You will complete knowledge reviews on wreck diving to prepare for the training. There are no final tests or exams.
In this diving course, you’ll gain knowledge on assessing and strategizing for potential dangers in wreck environments. Learn the essential skills of surveying and mapping wreck dive sites, crucial for future penetration dives. Discover the effective use of a wreck diving reel as a guide and safety line during penetrations, with comprehensive insights into emergency procedures. Acquiring these skills ensures a thorough understanding of the intricacies involved in wreck diving, empowering you to navigate safely and make informed decisions when exploring sunken vessels.

Important Information Please Read
- Are you fit to dive? Please take a look at this PADI MEDICAL FORM and check you can answer ‘NO’ to all the medical questions. If you say ‘YES’ to any of these, it may mean you have to see a doctor to sign you off fit to dive before diving. If you read it and answer ‘No’ to all, then you are good to start scuba diving.
- Flying After Scuba Diving: For safety you must plan to leave a minimum of 18 hrs after scuba diving before going to altitude.
