Option 1: PADI Open Water Course (3 Days / 4 Ocean Dives)
- Description: After completing your easy online e-Learning, day one is at the swimming pool, followed by two days of boat diving in the ocean. Our PADI Open Water Diver Course is a complete beginner, learn-to-dive certification experience!
Option 2: PADI Open Water Deluxe Package (4 Days / 6 Ocean Dives)
- Description: This package combines the main Open Water Course with a specialty course in buoyancy control. It takes 4 days and includes 6 ocean dives for a more in-depth learning experience.

Before Arrival: You Must Complete your Dive theory lessons using e-Learning Before Arrival. This takes about 3 days depending on your own pace and understanding. You will review this knowledge with your dive instructor upon arrival.

If you say ‘YES’ to any of these, it may mean you have to see a doctor to sign you off fit to dive before diving. If you read it and answer ‘No’ to all, then you are good to start scuba diving.

What is the PADI Open Water Diver Course?
The PADI Open Water Diver Course is a beginner-level scuba diving certification course. It teaches you the basics of scuba diving, including equipment usage, underwater communication, and dive planning, allowing you to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (60 feet) with a buddy.
Do I need any prior experience to enroll in the PADI Open Water Diver Course?
No prior diving experience is necessary to enroll in the PADI Open Water Course. The course is designed for complete beginners. You just need to be comfortable in the water and meet the minimum age and health requirements.
What are the prerequisites for the PADI Open Water Diver Course?
You must be at least 10 years old, be able to swim 200 meters (or 300 meters with mask, fins, and snorkel), float or tread water for 10 minutes, and be in reasonable good health.
How long does the PADI Open Water Diver Course take to complete?
The course typically takes 3 days min to complete, including online e-Learning which also take 3 days prior to start followed by shallow water pool sessions, and 4 open water dives. Enhanced Packages Take longer: Deluxe (4 days) and Total (5 Days)
Can I complete the PADI Open Water Diver Course in a different location from where I start?
Yes, PADI’s e-learning system allows you to complete the theory part of the course online before you travel. You can then complete the practical sessions and open water dives at a PADI dive centre in your chosen location. It is also possible to do your pool training at home and then complete the ocean dives at another dive centre with the Start At Home PADI Open Water Referral Option.
When I'm done, what certificate will I get, and what can I do with it?
After finishing the Open Water course, you’ll get the PADI Diver certification. It allows you to:
– Dive Independently with buddy (Qualified for 18m)
– Opens up more diving opportunities (Lets you Rent scuba equipment and join guided / unguided diving trips
– Join Higher level training courses like Advanced Open Water, Advanced Buoyancy Control and Underwater Photography courses for you to explore more.
