Taking the PADI Freediver Course Pattaya Scuba Adventures style, give you an experienced, passionate and dedicated Freedive Instructor who will lead your first steps on an amazing journey! Over 2 days You will learn the skills and techniques to become comfortable and one with yourself and the oceans as discover, why freediving is becoming a popular way to explore beneath under the waves!
No prior experience with snorkeling, skin diving or freediving is required to enroll in a PADI Freediver course. But with tha sai you must be at least 15 years old. You also need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.
What Will You Learn During Your PADI Freediver course?
During this PADI Freediver course your learning and experience will be split into three main phases:
Phase 1: Freediver Knowledge development. Learn the freediving principles through independent study with
PADI Freediver eLearning before your instructor expands upon this during your first training session.
Phase 2: Confined water session in the pool: Learn the techniques to breath hold via static and dynamic apnea. With our expert guidance you will achieve static apnea of 90 seconds and dynamic apnea of 25 metres.
Phase 3: Open water sessions: You’ll Go out on the boat and practice free immersion and constant weight freedives. The perfect time to feel free whilst practicing buddy procedures. Your Freediving instructor will help you achieve a constant weight freedive of 10 metres.
What Freedive Equipment will I need?
In the PADI Freediver course, you learn to use a mask, snorkel and fins, and may also use a
wetsuit and weight belt. Using gear designed specifically for freediving and of course if its your own its most comfortable is best, however, in
this course, you may be able to use snorkeling equipment you already own and /or try out some freedive specific equipments.
