How long does it usually take to finish the course?

Can I begin right after I become an Open Water Diver?
Yes, you can start the Advanced course right after getting your Open Water Diver certification – Learning these skills early on really helps you develop your diving and confidence.
What five dives will I be doing? How can I choose 3 of them?
Deep and Navigation are the required two dives and Yes, you can choose three other dives that interest you, like wreck diving or night diving. Your instructor will help you pick.
How deep can I go during the deep dive, and how do they keep it safe?
You must experience a dive deeper than 18m up to a maximum of 30 meters (100 feet), your instructor will evaluate and make sure it’s safe for you.
When I'm done, what certificate will I get, and what can I do with it?
After finishing the Advanced course, you’ll get the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification. It allows you to:
– Dive deeper (Qualified for 30m)
– Opens up more diving opportunities (Deeper dive sites on liveaboards and such required AOW certs)
– Join Higher level training courses like Rescue Diver, Deep Diver and Wreck Diver courses for you to explore more.
Important Information Please Read
- Are you fit to dive? Please take a look at this PADI MEDICAL FORM and check you can answer ‘NO’ to all the medical questions. If you say ‘YES’ to any of these, it may mean you have to see a doctor to sign you off fit to dive before diving. If you read it and answer ‘No’ to all, then you are good to start scuba diving.
- Flying After Scuba Diving: For safety you must plan to leave a minimum of 18 hrs after scuba diving before going to altitude.
