WHERE IS PATTAYA?

Pattaya, found on Thailand’s eastern Gulf coast, is just a 1.5-hour drive from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport. Known as the “city of fun,” it offers beaches, islands, lively nightlife, shopping, and water sports, making it a hub in Southeast Asia.

Initially a retreat for American GIs during the Vietnam War, Pattaya has grown into the largest resort city in the area. Today, it boasts resort hotels, condos, malls, bars, and the Wat Phra Yai Temple with an 18-meter-tall golden Buddha.

As Thailand’s second-largest city, Pattaya is a must-see on any Thailand trip, showcasing its vibrant evolution and diverse attractions.
